Developing Human Resource for the Knowledge Economy

The first conference on Knowledge Productivity in Rwanda is held at Kigali from 1 to 2 September 2009.

Rwanda is currently a country in transition. It is transforming from an agrarian to a knowledge based society, as described in Rwanda's Vision 2020. The Kigali Institute of Management (KIM) is supporting the government's development-policy by arganizing an international conference in this regard.

Professor Kessels will present recent research on the related topics of human resource development, knowledge productivity, social capital and innovation, and draws implications for Rwanda Vision 2020.
